Questions about buying this wallet

What is the difference between the Tangem 2 pack and 3 pack?
Each pack is one wallet. The extra cards are backup keys to the same wallet, so a 3 pack lets you keep two spare cards in different places.

Does Tangem need a battery or charging?
No. The cards use NFC and are powered by your phone when you tap them. There is nothing to charge.

Can I use Tangem without a seed phrase?
Yes. By default the private key is generated inside the card and backed up to the other cards. You can also choose to create a seed phrase if you want a standard BIP39 backup.

Is this device genuine and factory sealed?

Yes. The Crypto Merchant is an authorized reseller and sources every wallet from the manufacturer or its authorized distributor. Devices arrive new and sealed. We never open, pre-configure or ship a wallet with a pre-written recovery phrase. If a seal looks tampered with on arrival, do not use the device and contact us.

How long does shipping take?

US orders ship free with tracking and usually arrive within 2 to 4 business days from our warehouse in Florida. International shipping options and rates are shown at checkout.

What is the return policy?

Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund. Opened hardware wallets cannot be resold for security reasons, so they are not returnable. See our refund policy for the full terms, including restocking fees.

What if the device is faulty?

Hardware wallets are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If a device is defective, email support@thecryptomerchant.com and we will point you to the right warranty process for your brand.
