The Holiday Spirit Hits The Charts
So, I was scrolling through the r/CryptoCurrency subreddit and came across a thread called 'Now I get it' that had me laughing out loud. Someone posted a price chart showing a big spike up and then a jagged, volatile trip back down, and they drew a Christmas tree over it. The peak was the star, and the messy price action on the way down formed the branches. It’s the perfect meme for a wild crypto December.
Instead of the 'Santa Rally' everyone was hoping for, we got this. You just can’t make this stuff up.
What The Community Is Saying
The thread was full of traders who could totally relate. The vibe was a perfect mix of pain, humor, and pure crypto cynicism. One user nailed it, saying, "So it wasn't suppose to be a Santa rally but rather a Christmas tree pattern. It all makes sense now."
Of course, you had the classic self-deprecating trader humor, with one person joking the dip happened "because I bought." Others were just trying to find the silver lining, saying things like, "now I like it a bit better!" and that it was an "Early Christmas gift!" for buying the dip.
The jokes kept coming. My favorite was the user who called it the "Inverted V with Balls and Star on Top pattern that happens once a year!" But it wasn't all fun and games. Another person brought everyone back to reality, pointing out that the pain has been real, "especially for alts, which wont have anything near a similar chart."
